Industrial Sales and Leasing Briefing

November 2016

Investment sentiment remained buoyant in Q3 with a few en-bloc deals recorded, but the prospects of the logistics industry as a whole continued to dwindle with rents drifting.

Investment sentiment continued its uplift in Q3/2016 with the improvement in the general investment environment towards the end of Q3.

The warehouse leasing market was quiet in Q3/2016 with few major deals concluded.

By proactively adjusting their rental strategies for selected key tenants, large warehouse landlords are effectively wiping out the cost benefits of any potential relocations.

Property investment sentiment, including that for the industrial sector, should remain robust over the next three months with abundant liquidity in the local banking system.
